Questions

How do people get in on sealed card drops before they sell out?

The buyers who get in win on information and readiness — they know the exact drop time and have the retailer page open with an account ready, or they run back-in-stock monitors. The rest is checkout bots and multi-account tactics that violate retailer terms of service, get accounts banned, and are why product lands on the secondary market at a markup an hour later. Wildcard deliberately does none of that — no checkout automation — and instead gives you the timing and, more importantly, whether the box is even worth buying.

What does "worth it at MSRP" mean?

For each drop we compare the box's estimated expected value — the market value of the cards inside, from odds sheets and recent sold comps — against its retail price. Above ~95% of MSRP is a genuine rip; near break-even is a coin flip; below means you're better off buying the single you actually want. A box selling out at retail isn't automatically a win: plenty of hyped boxes are negative expected value the moment you open them.
