The green PMG Jordan is the defining 1990s grail: the first 10 cards of the 100-card PMG run were green, and most of the ten have never been publicly seen. The famous 2019 eBay sale brought $350,100; seven-figure numbers attached to the card since are private-treaty offers, not completed public sales.
Highest documented sale $915K (Dec 2020); a standing private-treaty offer on one copy reached $2.4M in 2025. An unseen serial surfacing would be a hobby-wide event.

Kobe's second-year PMG carries the same green-parallel mystique as the Jordan — a ten-copy run from the hobby's most condition-sensitive 90s insert set, with most serials unaccounted for publicly. The marquee sales ($2M in 2022, a record $3.15M to Alt in April 2026) were both private transactions.
Known sales: $2M (BGS 8.5, PWCC-brokered, Feb 2022) and $3.15M (PSA 5, Alt private purchase, Apr 2026) — the most ever paid for a solo Kobe card.

Roughly 90 of the 100 serial-numbered copies have been graded by PSA or BGS — the missing tier is condition: just seven BGS 9s and a single PSA 9 sit at the top, with no gem copy known.
The most important modern football card. The /100 Championship Ticket parallel is the grail tier — nearly the whole run is accounted for in pop reports, so the hunt is for the unaccounted last few serials and a gem copy that may not exist.
Public sales of high-grade copies have reached seven figures — a BGS 9 brought a then-record $3.107M at Lelands in June 2021.

1993 SP Foil Derek Jeter #279 (PSA 10)

Only 22 of the 26,000-plus copies PSA has graded have earned a GEM-MT 10 (as of late 2025) — condition rarity at its purest.
The ultimate condition-rarity grail: the foil surface chips if you look at it wrong. Tens of thousands exist raw; almost none gem. When a PSA 10 surfaces it commands six figures — two traded publicly in 2025 alone.
A PSA 10 brought $340,736 at Memory Lane in September 2025; another traded on Fanatics Collect Premier for a comparable figure that fall.

1979 O-Pee-Chee Wayne Gretzky #18 (PSA 10)

PSA's pop report now shows a single PSA 10 — the cert on the famous $3.75M copy was deactivated in late 2024 — and no OPC Gretzky PSA 10 has crossed a public auction block since May 2021.
Hockey's T206 Wagner. The rough-cut O-Pee-Chee printing makes a gem copy nearly impossible. Two PSA 10s once existed; after PSA deactivated the cert on the record-setting copy in late 2024, the pop report shows just one — which hasn't publicly traded since.
The deactivated-cert copy sold publicly for $3.75M (Heritage, May 2021); the surviving PSA 10 brought $1.29M at Goldin in December 2020.

The NFL Shield 1/1 changed hands for $4.3M in a 2021 PWCC private sale; sibling 1/1s surface only rarely — the Red NFL Shield RPA 1/1 brought $312,000 at PWCC in February 2023, and several others have never publicly appeared.
When the Shield traded for millions it proved what the rest of the 1/1 run is worth. A few siblings have since surfaced publicly (the Red Shield at auction, the Laundry Tag as a fractional offering) — the rest remain unaccounted for, and any of them appearing is an instant six-to-seven-figure event.

In the ~17 years since release, no verified photo, grading record, or public sale of the 1/1 Superfractor has ever appeared.
Topps' last NBA Chrome set before losing the license carried a single Superfractor parallel of Curry's flagship rookie, and it has never been publicly claimed — there isn't even an official image of the card. The hunt is hobby folklore: Adrian Wojnarowski co-hosted a Fanatics Live break of sealed 2009-10 boxes specifically chasing it, and sealed boxes trade at heavy premiums almost entirely on this chase.

2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection LeBron James Logoman Auto 1/1 (vertical version)

The vertical 1/1 Logoman autograph from LeBron's rookie-year Ultimate Collection has no public sale, grading record, or confirmed public sighting in over two decades.
Upper Deck produced two 1/1 Logoman autograph versions of LeBron in 2003-04 Ultimate Collection; the horizontal version sold publicly at Goldin in 2016, but the vertical version has never surfaced. Many collectors consider it the superior LeBron rookie-year grail and expect it to challenge the all-time basketball record if it ever reaches auction.

2024 Topps NOW Olympic Games #26 LeBron James / Stephen Curry / Kevin Durant Triple Autograph 1/1

Topps confirmed as of August 2025 that the 1/1 triple-autograph redemption had still not been redeemed, and no public sighting or sale has been reported since.
Issued after Team USA's Paris gold-medal win, this is LeBron's first Topps autograph and the first card signed by all three stars together; a then-record 588,035 base cards were bought chasing the randomly inserted 1/1 redemption. Bounties poured in — including a reported seven-figure offer from Giannis Antetokounmpo — yet a year later Topps confirmed it remained unredeemed, most likely sitting in an unopened shipment.
Giannis publicly offered $1M; a non-autographed triple parallel from the same release sold for $53,680 (2024), implying high-six to seven figures for the 1/1 auto.
